Loved this story so much! The end was perfect and so funny. The last chapter had me laughing! :D I loved that Glorfindel was so stubborn with Erestor, I think it fits his character so well!

y'know... i think the noldor invented and therefore use orthodoxly the broadsword. sounds like glorfindel would use that. however, erestor sounds like he's using the scimitar from the movie, which would obviously get glorfindel's attention. cool.

This story is more serious than other Erestor and Glorfindel ones, but I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth reading. I shudder to think of what they did to Lindir, however...

*laughs* Oh that last bit was great. Wonderful story, we don't ever see Erestor or Glorfindel in the movies, so it's good to read about them. :)

I realize that this is insanely late, but I don't believe I ever read the ending...According to reviews, I didn't. I'm sitting in my room trying my damndest not to bust out laughing and wake my b/f up at 2:30 am. XD Ah, I'm glad I found the link to this I wrote years ago. :) Very much so worth rereading. Congratulations on an excellent piece of art! You have made a true Erestor and Glorfindel fan out of one girl, at least. ~ Take care and hope that you're doing well and still pumping out stories.

This is a beautiful story, extremely well written and appeals to many. Parts of it made me want to cry, other parts made me laugh out loud. Well done. The history that you showed between Elrond, Erestor and Lindir was well written and easily understood (something that sadly, does not always happen)
