this is an aswesome and completely new twist to the whole concept of the children taking the main part of the war. I love the siege aspect. Please write more and finish the story. I'd even love to see flashbacks from the first three months.

A shame this is incomplete, it is a great story.

I began this story despite the fact that I knew it had not been updated for several years, and that is a decision I am glad to have made. The development of your characters in the short 6 chapters we've been graced with has left me with an excitement for more I haven't felt from Fanfiction in years.
Harry is just the right amount of canon and fanon; humble, powerful, with both determination and the ability to back it up. Hermione and Ron, too, are beautifully portrayed, and even the glimpse of Ginny we received endured me to the character you portrayed her to be.
This story is going somewhere, even if it is never completed, because everyone who reads it will be inspired to think of their own continuation. It will leave us wondering who will be revived next, just what happened between Draco and Harry to cement that bond of trust, how many more students will thrive under Neville's tutelage? When will Voldemort break through the wards (because surely he will), and what will her do when faced with this teenage army who has evaded his clutches for months? And what of the outside world? The owls that could not travel beyond the lock-down of the castle, the parents that despaired at the thoughts of what was occurring in a Hogwarts under siege. And the parents of those students who were killed, unaware of their deaths.
This is a story full of promise. Thanks for reminding me why something doesn't have to be complete to be wonderful.
