I was enjoying this story until once again Blaise Zabini is no longer black. I'm slightly alright with gender change, however to just decide a character is better off White...is disappointing. I thought I could keep reading this because I didn't believe "Blaise" would make any further appearances and I really falling in love with this fic even though it's incomplete. You probably don't even care, but it's really frustrating and diminishing when a fictional black character isn't even good enough to remain black in a fictional rendition of another fictional story.

I got to the end of the fifth chapter, and then I skipped back up to the top of the page to check when the story was last updated. It makes me very sad to see that there hasn't been anything more done with this for going on ten years (especially since you said the next chapter would be up in a week).

This has the potential to be one of the great epics of fanfiction, and I hope you haven't completely given up on it.

It's so sad to see a story so promising and interesting abandoned.

So far I like this Harry and his improved outlook. No longer does he seem to be the weak willed being that only got out of trouble through luck or the sacrifice of others. I do not like Dumbledore or Hermione and Ron in this so far. I hope that with what Harry figures out and works out with the study of Old, that he is able to put paid to many that cross him.

Wanted to start off with I like how your story is progressing. You've made a very likable believable beginning plot with mentions of things more to come. (dragon breath charm, Ancient Magics class, ect.)

I like how you have portrayed Harry with his increased power, "I hate the world" attitude, and now unpredictability. (Shows his rebellious teenness

Also like how you are making him LEARN his new talents unlike some stories where he's suddenly able to do these amazing things like read 1000 complicated books over the summer and understand them as well as show highly unrealistic magical talent.

I like how you have brought Blaise into this story. The someone new for Harry to befriend seeing as Hermione and Ron are involved.

I definitely see that Harry's personality change from canon is to be expected due to the death of Sirius and the obvious manipulations of his life. Thought that was well written and portrayed.

I guess my only criticism is the one I'm sure everyone is bringing up. Procrastination. The whole, "I know that I was supposed to continue with this," thought in your head. I've had that too. But I give you kudos that you left your story up for others to enjoy despite it being unfinished. I took mine down with the idea that I'll finish it someday and repost it.

Uh yeah, its been over a year and its still not back up so I totally know that small measure of guilt.

I know that you've had people probably ask you if you've abandoned this fic or are you ever going to finish this, it's been X number of years and that reviews like that don't help so I won't say that. I just thank you for the beginning that you gave and I know that if you want to finish it you will.

I have to admit that I don't like your description of the mind. I always imagine the mind as being subject to the imagination so even though I find the idea of constructing bricks a poor idea I believe that it would be perfectly suitable if you added in even just a couple sentences on how harry focused on creating bricks that were impenetrable, unbreakable, and impossible to circumvent. As it is you merely say that he is making bricks out of water, and while that is imaginative it is still lacking in imaginative backing.

I realize this review may seem rather harsh but I really only mean it as something you may ponder on and I only make it because I like your story.

This could have been SUCH a great story! Whatever caused you to stop writing it?
