Okay, now this is an epic crossover. I love both series, and I never thought they would go together so well. Calvin and Jason are very much alike in personality and I like how you showed their creative growth in their respective fields. And the similarities between their mothers, dear lords. XD My mom got into that horrible health food phase, too so I have complete sympathy for the terrible eggplant recipes. And I love how Hobbes and Quincy get along. Too cute.

I loved this story. I'm a huge Calvin and Hobbes fan and a casual Fox Trot fan (where Jason is my absolute favorite in that strip - I just adore that boy) so the pairing was very ideal for me. And your characterizations were perfectly spot on.

I'm pretty slash neutral (I don't explicitly seek them out, but I'm not averse to them either), but this story just captivated me. Long after I read it, I was still thinking about it and wondering what might happen next.

So much so, that the reason I wanted to PM you was to ask if it would be okay if I wrote my own continuation of this story, giving you due credit of course. I hope you'll let me know so I can do so in good conscience.

Ah, Calvin as an art geek makes my day, and Jason being so awesome and sweet does to. I guess this fic is like my dream come true, except I didn't know I had that dream and a dream like that would be kind of pathetic. xD
