I love how Andy tries to escape reality through his mind's imagination; you write that double-layer or reality and dreams very well.

My only critique would be that I wasn't quite sure if the first part with Red ever happened. I'm assuming no, and that the first part was just Andy's dream reality to escape the thought of Hadley's visits. I'm going with that assumption because it would be nigh impossible for Red to visit Andy in his cell with security around. I'm just pointing out my difficulty in deciphering real from fake, and how I eventually decided what I did, just to let you know as a reader how I viewed the story's events. Hopefully, that'll help you view the plot from an outsider's perspective, and perhaps make future writing a little crisper. Double layers are both amazing to read and frustrating, in that it takes a lot more skill (on both the writer and reader's part) to figure out what's real and what's not. But the thinking's what makes the story so great in the first place. :)
