Yup, and the fact that I willingly searched for Critic fanfics must say something about my geekiness... Anyway, this was really funny and in-character for both characters. It is bad though that I think A Lot like Seredipity sounds pretty good? |
| Jacob93 chapter 1 . 12/4/2007 Hey! If anyone is wondering where Springfield REALLY is, it's Springfield NT. There State motto is: "Not just another state". According to the Simpsons Movie, this state borders Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky, which is impossible since they are on opposite ends of the country. And if you haven't figured it out by now, this state is fictional. It was a creation by Matt Groening to further confuse fans about the true location of Springfield. And a little joke he added: NT stands for Not Telling. See, the creators did this on purpose, instead of trying to create a true location for Springfield, they made one Springfield out of all of the Springfields in the country so someone from any state would see the similarities and assume that Springfield is in their own state. I don't know about anyone else, but I would like it to stay that way, I like to think that Springfield is in my home state. |

| Schatzi chapter 2 . 5/26/2005 Clever, rib-tickling and downright funny. The combination of these two characters, complete with impeccable comic timing and spot-on contemporary references is hilarious. It's also just a bit surreal that I'm critiquing a story about a critic. It doesn't stink! :) |
