You handle this pairing beautifully. The conversation on which the story centres is charged with emotion, but manages to avoid being overwrought. It's simple and elegant, and I think that Inuyasha is written perfectly. There's just the right amount of snark in his responses. _~

And the "different" frame suited your idea wonderfully. It's interesting to see what kind of 'differences' these characters notice in the first place, as well as what they find better or worse.
