Hah. Well, this has just restored a great deal of my faith in EVA fandom...

So many people write EVA. So many people screw it up. I love how you immediately caught on the paradigm, the questions, fears and feelings the show actually triggers (rather than will Shinji sleep with Asuka or Rei *sigh*). The Eva - that blasted monstrosity, it's quite a perspective you give about it. I loved the line about Shinji knowing how easy it is to tear mountains apart, it's so... he is the weakest of them and yet inside that _thing_ - well, you know.

I love it. Please, write more.

very interesting idea, especially for a pre-Third Impact fic, that is what this is right? at first i didn't know why yui would attack shinji, but then again in the manga both rei and shinji meet another presence within the android, which i think is the eva itself. it was also trying to take their souls within itself as well, guess Unit 01 wasn't satisfied with yui alone. whether this was what you were going for or not, this was still a good, thought-provoking read; nicely done.
