wow! that was very good, shifting POVs interesting, but in the end, a very sad bittersweet story(which is good *sniff sniff*) keep writing!

I enjoyed this story very much. My only objection is that you never got into the issues (beyond immortality) that could have arisen from Buffy being a robot. She may have a human soul, but her body is a machine. What if it malfunctioned? Didn't she have problems at first as she adjusted to recharging at night?

Now that's a sad ending there, but a good one. However long your hiatus may last, I'm looking forward to reading some more.
