I hated assignments like that in high school. Mostly because my teachers looked for hidden meanings when nothign was hidden. But I liked Richie's 'Sunlight' and I'd love to read the rest of his poem on love.

Too funny for words!

I was actaully starting to like Richie's "Fear of the dark" essay. He def. could have gotten away with Virgil is my nightlight, if he claimed it to be metaphorical. "Metaphorically" is the magic word in English class- lets you get away with anything!

I liked your poetry, It didn't rhyme! *hates rhyming poems* and Backpack's was actually nice.

So yes, I've babbled on but I really liked it!
