Wow, what a story! I adore fics of Vader and his kids. I normally find Luke and Vader ones, but you put some Leia in there too! Nice! This was well-written and very fun. You put a lot of work and time into it, and I loved reading it!
My favorite parts? Anything with Vader, of course! When Luke woke up in the quarters Vader had prepared for him. When Vader left the Emperor because Luke needed him, and tended to him with such care. When Luke had to 'escape' from Vader but didn't want to. The tentative alliance between Vader and the Alliance for Luke. When Xizor backstabbed the Emperor, and flirted with Leia a bit (boy, if Vader had heard that...). When Vader found out Leia was his daughter and their brief but fun banter. When Luke and Vader finally reunited and then Luke eventually agreed to go with him. Vader's so crawl to being not-so-murderous. All very good! Keep writing!

Loved it. I've been mainlining this story for tree days (this pesky little thing known as university kept getting in the way of finishing it two days ago).
Wonderful plot, I have always loved stories with a slightly more realistic Vader-redemption in them. I know - he's not all there yet, but he's on his way :)

It was also great to see someone keep a level head as far as political manouvers go, sometimes it feels like authors try so hard to make their characters seem politically savvy and all they manage is to make them seem like smarmy asshats and everyone else like idiots for believing in them.

*sigh*. It took too many years before I found this amazing story. I’ve spent hours reading it. Your plotting was detailed and diabolical. Until the last few paragraphs, I wasn’t sure what Luke’s decision would be. Kudos to you for keeping that tension so beautifully. I’m smiling and going to bed happy...and will probably dream about their future together. Thank you for a great new universe!
