Loved these characters. You managed to create a believable world and some truly amazing people to inhabit it. You kept true to your set of rules, and kept personalities clear through the length of the story. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

This is the second time reading this saga and I love it. My only criticism would be if you were ever to update the story could you make it clear when a scene changes? There are too many times when one scene runs into another and I have to read several paragraphs before figuring out where I am, or if time moved forward.

I have but one question that has NEVER been answered in any fan fiction I've thus far read. WHY HAS NO ONE EVER QUESTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT HARRY'S SCARE? If the killing curse leaves no mark upon its victims yet Harry carries a scare from it, WHT'S WRONG WITH THE COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE OF THE MAGICAL WORLD?! Ya, I know all the BS that Braindead has poured into the collective minds but surely there's someone with an active brain cell to ask questions!

If they'd only Obliviated Ron in front of Voldemort, or killed him, or tattled to the Aurors when he used the cruciatus so he could be sent to Azkaban, the world would be a safer place. Good story, I'm really into it.

I'm retreading this story from the start, as I had lost track of it some time ago, and you're updating again! Yay!

I love the themes, the Aspidis, etc. The way the Harry was conceived is very in character for James and Snape, if you ignore the fact that James had been obsessed with Lily from the start - transfer that obsession, and you have the same characteristics.

One correction: persevere is not a transitive verb (cannot have an object that it affects). The word you want is outlive or outlast. (He outlived his demons.)

Enjoying the story - and the concept is... interesting enough to keep me reading.

Couple of character issues for me so far - one is the Hermione character - just not finding it believable. You've nailed the personality pretty well - nosy busybody who always has to be in everyone else's business all the time - but her relationships with other people? I just find it too hard to believe that EVERYONE would just accept her bringing Ginny into the Slytherin dorms - Harry as Alpha doesn't mean complete mind control over their reactions after all.

And when Draco finds her? He may not jump down Hermione's throat, but a bit unbelievable that he would just let Ginny go play in the common room while he divulges MORE information to someone who can't keep her gob shut as it is. There's nothing about Hermione that compels him - if anything, he's letting the Alpha down by doing so - even IF he had been ordered to do exactly that. If anything, escorting BOTH out and informing the alpha would have been more believable for him.

And the rest of the Slytherins? Just play games with Ginny and chat to her? C'mon... you can't convince me that there's no one who would be annoyed, or wouldn't say "Hermione we have to put up with, but not you".

I recognise that you want to have Hermione play some sort of role, for some unknown reason, but I wish that it was more believable in terms of everyone else's interactions with that character.

I just made this discovery. A truly amazing adventure with a solid hero embracing everyone the world was throwing away and getting love and loyalty in return.

You got to love Snape and Harry in this and Draco stays in character. He isn't AU strong, but much like canon until here he gest to discover his own self respect and worth.

I really loved this story.

Only a slight niggle, but the correct past tense of lead is led.

jeez I wish you'd just called him Alexander...horatio is awful lol

British people don't say 'Ya', you should really replace them all with 'Yeah' or 'Yes'. Apart from that, great story
