*puppy eyes*

*anypotter has a halo over her head*

-And Saizou flies- said Ushiro

*Well, its my fic...so*

-YAY! My pig flies!- said Souji

*Why the hell youre here?* anypotter points Souji

-Somene mentioned my pig- and then, Souji dissapeared.

-I envy him...- said Ushiro

I really like this, even as short as it is. The young Kenshin/Battousai just fascinates me. I hope you do even more on him!

Aww...poor little Kenshin. Hi, Ushiro! It was a fic with Kano from the OC Exchange that set me on you...let me see, whose was it? Khrysalis? Anyway, love the imagery there, when the 'two other posts fell apart as well' - he cut them without them seeing him move, obviously. So succinct. Succinct is good.

Very nice moment! I really like Ushiro in "Out of Time," and it's frankly nice to get to see more of him, to get to see more of his perspective on Kenshin.

I like the way that Kenshin is so terribly young in this story, and that he can sense the emotions of the men around him without really understanding them. The fact that Ushiro can see Kenshin's innocence, and that everybody in the inn knows that Kenshin has been brought there to be an assassin, were very nicely done.

Ah! Loved it. I've always thought that before Kenshin became so feared, there must've been a lot of envy among the rest of the Ishin Shishi soldies... I mean, a kid showing such stunning moves? You've written it extremely well.

I liked this! I want more 'diversion'! Is there any chance of another chapter? You could almost re-tell Kenshin's transformation from an innocent boy to a coldly unemotional hitokiri through Ushiro's eyes. I know I'd be hanging on every word. But please finish 'Out of Time' first, OK? I love that story!

This is wonderful! I love the way you've portrayed both Ushiro and Kenshin in this. The last line, about not envying Kenshin is perfect and very powerful.

This also gives me a little more of Ushiro's character to work with, which is a very good thing. I probably won't post anything until you're done with "Out of Time" though. ::grins:: How soon can you be persuaded to work on your other Ushiro story? ::makes big pleading puppy dog eyes::

How sadly ironic is the line about Kenshin showing his emotions so freely. I love these brief glimpses into the moment in time when Kenshin is standing on the knife's edge and doesn't know it yet. I like how you join us the reader with Ushiro as we know how Kenshin's world is about to change.
