Oh! i had to revew this again because i read the Authors note and it said it that this was called wayfairing stranger and you have heard the song before! i was playing the song on the violin last night!

Hey, great story! have you ever heard the song "wayfaring stranger"? my dad loves it so i hear it all the time and it always reminds me of Aragorn. does it remind you of Aragorn? is that why you called your story that? yes, i am crazy, but just had to ask you.

I find it a surprise that I have not yet reviewed this piece, as this must be at least the fifth time that I have read it. Because of its great length I would normally read it from my printed copy but I cannot find this, so I read from the original here with eagerness to relive those very memorable initial chapters characterized by the detailed and lengthy healing scenes which I am so hopelessly fond of - and you craft them perfectly. Those scenes are like a hot bath for me to sink into and release all daily worries. Thank you for providing your readers with such a skillfully crafted piece of therapy. It is a pity that it doesn't seem that you will be continuing with this - at a terriffic cliff-hanger too! - but I earnestly hope that you may find the time and will to complete it. Until then I happily enjoy what you have created so far and in my mind imagine how the story would unfold from here.

I don't think things went as Aragorn thought they would, seems he has not quite got the hands of the king healing down right. But not bad for a first try.

This was a very moving chapter that Aragorn should choose to take the pain and infection upon himself.I love the way you depict him as so caring and selfless.

THey would probably have whiskey in M-e but not scotch as such as SCotland wasn't there then.

I'm very much enjoying this story and eagerly await more.

Right, on to my review: Excellent, as usual! I like that bit at the beginning where Aragorn and Meren have different views on two very painful-sounding treatments. That is one of the few reasons I am glad to live in 2006.

That healing backfire was inspired! I see that this is going to cause some problems, since now they're both wounded at the same time... I can't wait to see how you're going to fix that!

And I'm presuming that the "Stupid, stupid, stupid" at the end there is Gwenneth?

Can't wait for the next update! Hope that pesky Real Life thing straightens out a bit for you, mellon nin!

Oh, so sorry I missed the last one! But no, Aragorn was all healed and everything! Why must he be so wonderful and self-sacrificial. Well, I suppose he didn't know what was happening...please let them both be okay!
