Loved it!

I really liked this ending! Even though she didn't end up with Jesse, I think it was better because she was making a good life for herself, not dependent on a man. (Though James is there, and a cutie, he is not the reason for her happiness.)

I think too few fics address what Winnie would do without Jesse-it's a big decision to make, and it really shouldn't be just about him.

I do find Jesse forgetting Winnie to be implausible, I prefer to more think that he moved on than he forgot. (Or, well, tried to move on.) Actually, before James came into the picture, I wasn't sure if you were leaning towards Winnie getting together with Miles-especially because he saw her in town. Poor Miles...

I also didn't see the reverend thing coming, but I did like it! It was interesting and overall I enjoyed your story quite a lot :)

She isn't supposed to be hurt. Jesse fell out a tree on his head and didn't hut him a bit. Tuck shot himself and he didn't feel it. Miles got bitten by a posinus snake and Hesse ate posinus mushrooms.
