Awesome story. I really enjoyed it.

Hi, I'd just like to let you know that I have been following this fic for probably about five years now, and I have never forgotten it. When I first read it, it was only completed up to the Graduation chapter (which was still a great temporary ending in its own right), and I never imagined that one day I'd turn back to read it again like I did today and find it fully completed. Thank you so much for the literal years of enjoyment this incredible story has given me.

Wow! I had to catch up reading this again after such a long time and man, this story is great from beginning to end! Amazing job with the couple overall, I've always had a soft spot for Yakari.

Wow. Okay. Definitely never expected to see an update for this story. Wow. So nice to see an end to it. Glad to see you were able to bring it to a close, and quite soundly. I loved this story way back when and am glad I got to read the end of it. All in all, excellent job.

I read this a while ago, but didn't think to comment (sorry!). I absolutely adore this story. I'm not exaggerating; it actually inspired me to write my own Matt/Kari fic, though it's not half as good as this one lol. Thank you for taking the time to write it, it's the best one I've read... and I've read a LOT lol :)

im one of the few people that ship them. i always thought kari was the cutest female character (most people seem to think it's mimi though) and matt is obviously the hottest/prettiest male so i always liked the idea of them, besides the age difference and the whole "friend's sister" is soo fit for some fun drama (and im a sucker for that)

This story was a roller-coaster of angst. There were many times I simply wanted to attack the characters to make them see sense. All-in-all, I'd say, "Well Done!"

i've read this story probably six or seven times. this is one of my favorite yakari stories out there, though, admittedly, there's not a lot of them, haha. in any case, i could see the improvement in your writing grow as you kept writing, and apparently time did you some favors as well.

i am aware that you haven't updated this story in, what, five years? but i would really love an epilogue, since you said there'd be one. the first time i read this i threw my phone across the room (luckily, it fell onto the bed and didn't break) and sobbed for about an hour.

to put it simply,
you broke my frickin' heart.

so kudos for excellent writing and the ability to instill such intense emotions.

but please, for the love of god, at least tell message me saying whether they end up happy together or not. please. ((i first read this eight months ago)) ((i'm still upset about it))
