I love every ounces of Kenshin and Kaoru you wrote here, fit perfectly with their characters in manga, not too waffy or mushy, but still sweet and genuine. I've been meaning to sort of Kaoru's role in manga, question such as why was she given only a view of combat sessions, even her apprentice had involved in serious fights while she was either left at home or stood by the battlefield. But, I also suspect that Kaoru held much more than just a "damsel in distress" or a lonely land lady who happened a master of Katsujin style...I've been reading countless RK fic, so allow me to say Thank You for witing through your perspective, I need this, I finally found my answer. Kaoru's role transpired subtly, while Kenshin resolved the matter with wielding his sword like it or not, and he showed compasion after, Kaoru, showed compassion from the beginning, I guess Watsuki-sama wanted her character to radiate another kind of power and strength, the one that could be mistaken as weak, The Gentle Power. Once again, thank you, and I don't know whether this review will reach you, but I hope that you are a writer nowadays, creating wonderful stories, fanfic or even a book,

You really must right an M-rated version of this nonfiction. I absolutely love it. Your portrayal of the characters is excellent and even the reunion of all the old ones is realistic just as one could imagine it happening in the anime or manga. I would honestly love it if you wrote more stories about kaoru and kenshin
