I loved the "dammit Mal, I'm a Doctor not a veterinarian!" line. Good old Star Trek. Great fic. I've saw the Trek episode not too long ago, that only made this even better to read.

Okay, I'm trying really hard not to laugh at this and therefore cause a bunch of people to stare at me like I'm a maniac, because this story is beyond histerical! It's a genius idea, right down to the Simon the Tribble plaza! Brilliant! The best part though was River predicting they would be run over by tribbles, and calling them intergalactic bunny rabbits. Love the homage to Bones by the way. A great fic!

You are awesome. Seriously. I saw the title and I thought it would be funny. . .but it's so, so much better than that. Mal covered in tribbles is even more amusing than Kirk. . .and of course, Simon's best line ever. Great story!
