Just a quick error I noticed with the story.
You are going off the belief that they have only JUSt opened Hogwarts "a year ago" but Harry, while talking to Snape at the start of this chapter, mentions:
"...Hufflepuffs tend to grow up into fierce protectors and are viciously loyal, despite their typically mild beginnings."

This statement is something that Snape would pick up on immediately as incorrect or a crack in the story Harry has made, seeing as there is no way 1 year counts to "grow up into fierce protectors and are viciously loyal".

This is still amazing story though, so looking forward to continuing to read :)

well, very interesting indeed, though a little rushed in my opinion. It’s a bit weird how easily they accepted that the whole ordeal and started explaining stuffs without not even doubting if it was a plot. I mean, I though they at least should be a bit more surprised seeing Dumbledore alive. Anyway, I’m going back to reading
