I greatly enjoyed this fanfic. I really liked how you had Doc meet Marty at such a young age. I especially liked the part about Marty sitting on Doc's lap while Doc read a story to him. I thought that part was adorable and touching and I wish there were more little snipets like that in more fanfics out there. I think this was a great BTTF story and hope that you write more BTTF stories in the future.

I've been back on a back to the future kick, and I happened to come across your fic under a page with recommendations. I'll admit, I don't comment on fanfiction much, especially those posted 14 years ago or so now, but perhaps maybe you'll see this one day. I really wanted to let you know how well written this story is. It's very professional in terms of flow, suspense, and characterization. I really really felt for doc and Marty being outcasted like that, it was a bit relatable to me, but it was nice to hear that there is always someone out there for you, you can/will have friends, and to not let what other people say get to you. You are who are, and if you're happy being that way, then that's all that matters. It's really clear that a lot of thought and effort went into this. Everything felt so alive, it was like I was watching another one of the movies in my head. Thank you for the wonderful experience! (And hello to anyone in the future who also reads this fic! )

This is a wonderful, creative, suspenseful, and compelling story. I was reading it last night before bed and suddenly realized it was 2 AM - I was so engrossed I had no idea it had gotten so late.

I was a little unsure of the plot: that Emmett knew of the events of 1955 because they had already happened, and so of course knew that he and Marty would become friends *and* that he would eventually create a time machine. But in the movie, Doc had that taped-together note that Marty had given him in 1955, so yeah, he did know what had happened, didn't he? Don't ask me to explain time travel.

I usually stay in the fanfic realm for which I write my stories, but I've been branching out a little. I'm so glad I did, and that I was able to find and read this story. It really is excellent: well-written and a joy to read. The only thing I wonder. . . When (and why) do Marty's parents become jerks? They are so normal in this story. :)

This is hands down one of the best things I have ever read (mind you, I'm a very avid fic reader who has read tons of stuff in her life). Anyway... this is impeccable. Like literally, I can't see any flaws and I marvel at how much heart and effort and your love for the characters you put into this.

By the way, just a shot in the dark, but I guess Hank was mentally ill so that's why he acted the way he acted-the accident with Holly must have traumatized the guy, rendered him opinionated and stuck on the idea of revenge. That's pretty sad, actually; people who aren't able to forgive are poor and pitiable as they cannot enjoy life and let go... So, Hank's mental illness seems like quite a suitable explanation for his behavior to me.

This is a cute idea about how Marty and Doc got to know each other; I particularly like how Doc is the first adult Marty's ever met who's understanding and still has a childlike nature. It certainly fits with the movie (I've only seen the first one, because I heard the other two weren't as good).

I'm not really sure what to say on this, other than "awww"! Their relationship was really well developed in this and the characterization was consistent throughout. This was extremely well written, I loved it!

This is officially my favourite Back To The Future fanfic of all time, incredibly well written and captured the character's personalities perfectly. Write more on BTTF! please!

I really love this story. It's the most detailed origin story ever and very original while still acknowledging that this meeting could have only gone this way in the improved 1985 timeline while the canon origin. Story happened in the old 1985 timeline. My only criticism is that this needs to be split up into different chapters.

This story was absolutely adorable and had me in tears quite a few times. Definantly the best fanfiction I've read in a long time.

All I can say is that... This the first story I've had to hold in tears. The drama, the excitement, the loving friendship between Marty and Doctor Brown, and the heart breaking moments really exploded with emotion. I imagined every scene like it was a real movie, and I even saw Doc helping young Marty read. Very amazing story with a heart warming touch, and really almost got me to the point of tears.
