Forgive me for writing this years down the line - I was always was too shy to comment ages ago. Just thought you ought to know the fic holds the test of time. It's always a delight to re-read (as are others in your library).

As an aside: I'm stunned I didn't cotton on the the Saints Row place names the first time I read this. Embarrassed how long it took me to acknowledge "Stillwater" wasn't a fluke.

Truthfully this is my third reread of this fic and I still find it every bit as adorable and amazing as I did the first time around. Awesome job! :-)

Wow, what a great ending.

I have to say, this is the first GW fic I've read in a while, and I'm glad I chose this one to break myself back into the fandom with. You write beautifully with just enough detail to paint a clear picture without overdoing it to the point where the reader is stifled. Most of the characterization was fairly well done in regards to your characterizations. I may personally have trouble imagining some of the personalities you attributed to the G-boys, but I understood what you were going for.

Spelling error were minimal, which I greatly appreciate. Nothing tells a reader more about the author than when the author respects the reader enough to spell-check/grammar-check. I loved the chapter length and spent a good few hours reading your work.

Finally! I'm so glad I've found this story here as well. Don't misunderstand, I've read this story over at your website while I was trying to find some more GW fanfiction to read. And I'm very, very impressed. I couldn't stop reading as soon as I started reading the first chapter. The way you described Heero's daily life entwined with Duo's own in such a... I'm not sure how to call it... (interesting isn't the right word)... "stalking is all right as long as your subject is interesting" sort of way. XDD; Okay, maybe that's a bit too exaggerating. They're both so shy, missing all (well, most of the) chances to really, really talk to each other. It made me laugh and anticipate their next meeting, first date, first kiss and so on. XDD Though admittedly I'm more of a 3x4 fan, I got really fond over the 1x2-ness and the 5H was interesting too. Besides that, I like how you portrayed Quatre and Trowa. I've come across a lot of Quatre(s) in fanfiction where he's depicted as weak and girl-ish to the point I abhor these stories. Trowa-is usually written as someone very, very emo. It gets a bit annoying, so it's a really refreshing when I read this Trowa. For most of the part, it's amusing to read Trowa acting like this. But I suppose his character here tends to give me weird vibes as well.

Agh! That was so wonderfully written, and beautifully drawn out. You're really a fantastic writer, and I deeply appreciated reading this story. There were times when I got frustrated by the lack of movement in Duo and Heero's relationship, but at the same time, I liked it because that's how things go realistically. I have a friend that I only ever smiled at and shared awkward silences with for a month before we actually spoke. So it's very neat to see things in this story play out like they can realistically.

You had a wonderful sense of detail, explaining menial details of their jobs, their relationships. You're characterisations were fantastic. I really loved Quatre and Trowa, though. They took the cake for me. They were quite different from the anime 3 and 4 I'm used to, but their characters were just so wonderful that they became my favourite part near the end.

And what a wonderful way to end it, with the fire works. :)
