Sweet. Real sweet and real nice. The development is lovely, and the pastry is a cute add-on. I love Byakuya being contemplative and Renji seeming like a moody bum but whose moodiness is well explained later on.

And this sentence- "It’s awkward and tentative and comfortably sweet, as any real first kiss should be"- Loved it. Totally adorable, i swear. The whole bittersweet tinge in the story and the sweet sweet ending totally got me.
