it was a long story, a good one too. I loved the ups and downs. Even if there were grammatical errors as you pointed out, it was still amazeballs.

The only problem I had in reading/following was simply the way you did block text. It was at times very hard to follow who was talking when you had several sentences of "kadkf" and "wodnf" next to each others. BUT I loved how you turned Kamui around at the end, so he helped seal the shadow.

and ohh... Azrael was amazing... a plot point that was well worth the investment.

this is the best gasaku story i have ever read, thanks to little falcon for creating this awesome story .. i also used to like sasusaku but now i just want gaasaku T_T i also have read the sequel of this story and you know what ? i have never been bored of reading 'the desert rose' and the sequel, over and over again .. i just love your writing .. huwaaaaa, please write more gaasaku stories !

when you said 'Kazekage' i assumed Gaara, but then who would be the person she is supposed to rendezvous with? Temari? Kankuro? nope, guess who? Gaara! so who the crud is the Kazekage? i then checked to see when this story was written... 2006. in that case i don't blame you, but i don't think I'll read this, i like the shippuden timeline far too much. doesn't mean i don't like it though! it's awesome! i like the idea and all! but I'm still too attached to shippuden... I'll give it a year or two, then, if this story is still here, I'll read it! 'kay? lolz.

(Sorry my keyboard was acting up so I didn't finish my review) So there were some factors that would keep my review completely positive. On the technical side other than your usual grammatical errors which happen to everybody, I found that the story seemed a little hectic in its consistency. In short the change between the POVs was unclear at the majority of the time until you read about a sentence in to dispel the confusion. I also felt that there was a little lacking in personal motivation and character thought details that would add more depth to the story. Almost like I could taste a sample of the cake but not the whole thing. For my personal complaints I would have to say that I didn't like how Sakura was so frequently hurt and rescued by all of the other characters, as I might have to see her use her own strength and intelligence evade capture. besides all these I would have to say hat I thoroughly enjoyed your s tory and I would be pleased to see that you keep writing

It is my rule to never review a story until I have read it through to the end, and this I did. First off, The Desert Rose has an astounding amount of plot creativity which I find is rare in fanfiction. Most stories rarely deviate from the main storyline so heavily, and the complex new plot direction is a welcome treat. I have one thing to say, well this being my first time reviewing, this might seem a little odd, but a Dissection done on living organism's is called a Vivisection. But, aside from a few typo's, which I understand is inevitable, I must say, your fan-fiction is quite amazing. I have so far only found two that, dare I say, really spike my interest, that being said, I take my leave.
