Holy heck, the twists in the last chapter were amazing. I never would have connected the dots. I loved your story, all 80K of it.

I particularly appreciated the care you put into your descriptions and similes a knot that can't be untied).

I enjoyed Bobby and Mike as partners and the whole Nicole sub-plot.

But the best part of all was Bobby's relapse and the way that was handled by both him and Alex. Really good writing there.

I'm glad I still have a few stories of yours left to read.

I am mid-way though your wonderful story. I just had to stop to tell you that this chapter was beautiful beyond beauty. Bobby goes to the hospital in the middle of the night after his Nicole nightmare, and he later takes them home from the hospital.

I love Alex's quiet talk to the baby, and these lines too:

"Now I almost feel guilty – I love this baby so much more. It feels so different."

"Because it's yours," Bobby said.

Alex smiled and put her hand on top of the baby's hand, which was still curled around Bobby's index finger. She shook her head, 'no' – "Because he's yours."

And of course the last line: "This time, he made sure she wasn't coming home with empty arms."

Gah! I love your stories. Will review again when I read the end.

Well, this was quite the ride, as I think I've said before. Still, I liked the story's flow, and Bobby is always wonderful with children. RJ and Nathan were delightful, and it was interesting to see who was really guilty in this universe.

I admit it - you had me fooled. I thought it was that woman too. Excellent work. like the others I've read from you!

I actually became a fan of LO via SVU - but CI grew on me quickly as soon as I first saw it... I've been a VDO fan a long time - pre MIB even (try from the first time I saw Adventures in Babysitting!) but discovered CI because of Jamey Sheridan (as long term a fan, from a variety of his roles!) Goren, Eames and Deakins are my favorite characters, and I like Mike Logan too!

OK, while I disapprove of her trying to bolster his ego and all by babying him and letting him 'find' the evidence, the ending, where he tells he he knows was cute. It makes it almost acceptable. I'm happy she's pregnant again. :D I'm glad they got the bad guy, but seriously, her doing that...bothered me. Anyway, I can live with it. I'm just glad for the happy ending. :D

WOW! What a surprise ending! You hooked all three stories (Haines, Bennett, Crowley) together so effortlessly and so well... and I love that Alex let Bobby find the clues himself - it is just what she would do! Great job!
