I'm kinda going through a hitsumatsu marathon and this was just so funny and cute. These two will always be my otp.

I'll admit that I'm not really a Hitsu/Matsu fan, but this just nailed it perfectly. They're so sweet and funny together. I love how Hyorinmaru plays both the mentor and pest to get the events in motion.

Aw, this story is so adorable. Well-written of course, even for discerning tastes, and has some surprises, like Hitsugaya's saying "i love you" and then immediately adding "But I won't have you. sorry." Drama! it's great.

Hyourinmaru being talkative is something. It is annoying, but not to the point where I was annoyed. I did go, "jez," a few times, but it didn't completely kill me. It had an annoyingly high voice when I read it, sadly. -_-' At least it was done consistently!

The zanpakutou talking was very clever and I might have to use it more often in my own stories. What a cool idea. Credit given, of course!

The scenes you chose to go through from the cannon are actually not exactly were I would expect them to be, but that actually works really well. (The lull between Aizen's apparent death and the bad fights, etc.) Not IN the fights, but the lulls around them. Domestic, yet reallisitic. Really maintains the mood of the story, which is a lighter one. I really like the choices you've made for your story! Great work!

This might be the ONLY HitsuMatsu I've ever read that I actually, well...liked. A lot. I AM TEH ANGRY! Only, you know, not. Not really. More like happily and pleasantly surprised. Although I did spend most of the fic going, "this is humor, angst, right? TEH HITSUHINA SHALL RULE OVER ALL! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!". Um...so...good job.
