I love this story! I always those two to interact, and know! Rand has little enough family as it is.

I like it, and I do think it is one of the better WHeel of time fanfics out there. ALthough it says complete maybe you could continue it, because it is good.

It will be interesting to see how JR uses what we now have come to know. Namely that Rand and Galad are brothers. You hand;e it delicatly and yet I think quite accuratly. I think this for several reasons the main ones are these. I think Galad far more lightly to make the first move and speech on the subject. Rand is too distant from anyone never mind a brother he never knew he had.

Also I think you judge rightly in that Rand and Galad will be the means of uniting two very differnt but both very anti the shadow organisations for TG. This is what will bring the brother buisness to a head.

Rand and Galad do echo each other or rather present the opposites of each other.

They are both leaders, but lead in hugely different ways. Rand yearns to be close but enforces his seperation becasue he believes being close to him death and all things bad.

Galad is also alone but through his high idealic lifestyle and ethics. He on the other hand is almost unconcious (or seemly so) of his aloneness. He doesn't care for it and he believes that being close and around and led by him is a good thing.

Both great, both pulling people to them. One trying to push away the other passivly accepting.

This story has really got me thinking... thank you.

rand al'thor is galads half-brother not his brother which means he is elaynes cusion and has claim on the sun throne of chairhien rands mother tigrane (shaiel) left a son she loved galad and a husband she dident tarangil damodred. morgase marred tarangil had elayne and gawyin then thom merilin killed tarangil after lerning of a plot to kill moregase and become andors first king. tigrane on the other hand went to the waste and became a maiden of the spear and beacme pregant from a clan chief (whos name i forget) and gave birth to rand then died on the slopes of the dragon mount rand was found by tam and kari al'thor and brought up by tam after kari died the later met his half brother galad and two cusions gawyin and elyane. and even later fell in love with elayne and got her pergnant with twins one a boy the other a girl both i belive can channel.

i saw this and absolutely had to read it. i don't know what i was expecting, but it wasn't that.

i LOVED it. great job. you captured the characters so well, the situation was original, the writing itself was very good.

Ohh it's really good! not only well written but the first interaction with rand and galad that i have ever read. I think it's funny how you made him ocd though. I sugest that you write another chapter , maybe another run in with his mother or maybe try his father. just a thought.

Excellent story! We never get a lot of information from Galad's POV, and I thought you did a great job of explaining his thoughts. I especailly like how you handled his OCD nature. :) Keep writing, please!

I've a soft spot for Galad, but that's not the reason behind the grin I'm sporting. I'm sure I would have enjoyed this fic. if I was an avid Galad-hater.

I loved his fastidiousness. I loved his interaction with Rand. I loved the originality of the theme.

I guess that means I loved it. Gosh, aren't I the terribly unconstructive one? :P

I love your Galad- he is a bit OCD, but I organize my M&Ms into piles of one of each color and then eat them in order of smallest pile to biggest pile, so who am I to talk? A bit absent-minded, too- honestly, Galad, can't you remember if he had a left hand or not? Still, well done with him.

Aw, they're half-brothers! And Rand's probably too far gone to care, but at least Galad knows now. :)
