I just found this story and I wanted to let you know how much I loved it. I got the sense during that scene that Tony kind of gave up, and that Jack gave up on trying to save him because he felt it was more humane to let Tony die. I wrote about that recently in one of my season 7 fics. As angry as I was that the producers killed Tony off in season 5 and as happy as I am to have him back now, part of it feels like it would have been more humane to let him die, as your story illustrates.I love how you have him trying to reassure Jack that he'll be okay, which is very much in line with my theory that when Tony said "she's gone, Jack" that was his way of saying, as you put it, "let me go." Your story reminds me why I still feel sorry for him despite the "bad things" he's done and why every time I see him on screen I just want to give him a hug. Great job with this fic! I'd love to see you write a fic that tries to get inside Tony's head in season 7 the way you did with this fic in season 5.

That was very cute! I loved it. I like to think that I am at least a little religious. I believe in God and Jesus and life after death. I liked that you sort of brought that out a little bit in this story. I would like you to write that story about Michelle still being alive. I had that idea myself. PLEASE KEEP WRITING!

beautiful, was crying when i read this... i'm going to miss tony and michelle so much... its definatly an episode and season two four fans will never forgot... i know i wont... once again it was fantasic.

It's so beautiful. So unbelievably beautiful. I loved this bit. It's sad, yes, it had me in tears, but then again the ending is something I'd have hoped for them. I'd love to hear more, like that story of Michelle being alive (I have made so many 'conspiracies' of this too, trying to find a way to think she was alive. That they both were alive).
