I know it's been years since this was posted and the series ended but as I've only recently started re-watching Boston Legal, I was pleasantly surprised to find your story. I quite liked the interaction between Alan and Melissa on the show and am glad you wrote them. Short, simple and to the point. Lovely. Thank you for writing this.

I quite like that he had a crush on her. Poor Alan, all the girls he likes eventually disappear...

He should have tried Nike', always comfortable and painfully expensive! And I never had to have a pedicure to wear them, but I suppose that Alan never had a thing for running, except after several women, who doubtless were hampered by heels. I would love to see each pair, though I doubt he could wear anything in which he would not look stunning!

Once again, a lovely little ficlet. Ashamed to admit I don't really remember whatever plot bunny inspired this fic, but I liked it just the same. So cute that he watches to see her expression at his shoes, and adorable that he throws out important papers just to get the chance to do so.

off topic: In your review reply to me after I reviewed "screensaver," you mentioned that you only read chloe 24 stories. good taste! chloe's my favorite character. (I'm a chloe/edgar shipper- don't laugh, my pain is great) ;-)
