Well, that was an exciting and intriguing first chapter, looking forward to reading the rest; if it's anything like this one, wow!

Absolutely one of the greatest fanfictions I have ever- and most likely WILL ever- read. A wild ride, a great (absolutely insane) plot, and a nice mix of humor and serious scenes. The OCs were great, well thought out, and they all kicked ass. I love the dynamic between Ducky and the Elric bros, great twist! And there were definitely a couple of scenes that had me rolling on the floor; Reilly and Ed have the best conversations! This will definitely be one of those stories that stays with me, I love everything!

This chapter made me cry. I was not expecting that.

First off...such an epic story! O.o once i started on this story, i couldn't stop myself from reading up to the ! Oh!and that is the reason why i'm reviewing on this only now, :D

But seriously, this is such a wonderful your characters were just amazing.i don't know why but in my mind, Sidney becomes equated to Dr. John Dee from 'The Immortal Nicholas Flamel(?)' series, while Ducky is to Leo Valdez from 'The Heroes of Olympus'.somehow in my twisted brain, these characters have so much in , but i'm sure that had i read this story before i read all of those i mentioned, it'll be the other way around...with my mind coming up with a vision of Sidney and Ducky and then they wpuld pop up once i start reading those two stories :p

Anyway, uber great story!i just so loved it...it's beyond awesome!like i said, this is just epic! :D

Science is great, ain't it? Great chapter. Didn't expect Ed to apologize that quickly, though. Good. This story is a real page-turner (well, as much as it can be, considering the chapter is just one continuous page).

First chapter and I already have a favorite line.

'Edward Elric could do psychotic very well.'

Yeah, Al, it's better if you don't know.

I'm so sorry I waited so damn long to review, but I had to know what happened next.

I cried. I actually cried. I only cry during REALLY dark fics, and even then only if they're written well.

Your OCs are great. I especially liked Agent James Bond, even if he is a creepy, sociopathic killer. Gene is also awesome, and Ducky, and Ray... Well, actually I love all of them. I like how they all have backstories and little quirks, rather that just shoving a few Mary-Sues in there and calling it a day. You actually put time into this.

The subplots and POV switches are great and I can picture the exchanges and settings perfectly. You do imagery very well.

The humor is great. I love Ducky, and the idea of Paranoid!Ed getting hit on by everyone in the mall AND getting a henna tattoo is hilarious. There are bits that had me laughing out loud, put I think a tiny part of that is my giggling whenever Al swears. When did he start that, anyway?

The neonatal bit was so cute, but so sad at the same time. I love it. The wheelchair race bit was definitely great. My favorite quote is probably "Ed is going to shit himself with joy!". Don't know why, but it was worth getting funny looks when people heard me giggling.

The plot is amazing. You theory behind why alchemy works makes so much sense! I would have never thought of that!

Your writing style is amazing. Everyone is in character (except Al, but I think it's for the better), and you balance the plots perfectly. Can't wait until Ed and Al reunite, and I will forever be your greatest fan! This is in the top three of my all time favorite fics, and I'm only a third of the way through!

Sorry about the essay, but I just had to tell you what a great author you are.

PS: I'm really grateful for you not making this Maes/OC. It would just be awkward, considering how much he used to push his daughter's photos in everyone's face. I just can't imagine Reilly letting him do that.

Oh my GOD. This story is a master piece. The OC's were well written and believe able and I love love Ray and Ducky. I love the hints that Ducky was Ed's great grand-son. The reunion between Ed and Al at the hospital was great and the meeting of Ed and Maes was awesome. The chapter that had Ed meeting his son brought tears to my eyes.

I can't stop imagining Hughes' face when he realizes Ed's son got hitched with his Alternate!Elysia XD.

so the hughes and elrics in the book were from this world which meant it wasnt the hughes and elrics from the alchemy world?

which then would provide the possibility that they were born at different times which explains the age...

so does that mean? Ed went to future of the non-alchemy world right? so... oh... right... noah... from non-alchemy world...
