![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, if there was ever an Academy Award for the most hilarious depiction of Zelenka, this would take two. The story is really great, original concept that I breezed through. But damn, that Zelenka tho! Great read, thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Holy cow what a mind bender! Fantastic mix of humor and drama, and the transitions were fantastic. Love this one a lot! 3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've been a bit slow to find this story but I'm glad I did. I loved it |

![]() ![]() ![]() They come through for each other even in the privacy of their own heads! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this! You made the transitions between Rodney's two lives quite seamless. I loved that, while Sam seems susceptible to Rodney's imagination, John stays entirely himself; and that, I think, speaks to John's consistency, his unwavering character, and his need to bring all his people home... at least as Rodney sees him. Rodney's flashes of memory, even while in the AU - the jumper for example - were good, not too many and not too few. (Too many, and Rodney should have admitted he was crazy and not gone into work; too few, and Rodney would've had a harder time believing Sheppard.) The only thing I would say is that the grammar and spelling mistakes are quite distracting. I don't know how old this story is (didn't check the date) but I would strongly recommend a beta before you release anything else. :) -K |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this story. Absolutely loved subconscious!Sheppard, he was just so...Sheppard. D Fav bits would have to be the jello hostage situation with subconscious!Sheppard and then the bit where Real!Sheppard brings Rodney the blue jello. I admit, I cackled in glee. This was written fairly long ago, but I can't help but express curiosity about what happened on the Thereasian planet before and while and after Sheppard rescued Rodney, not to mention Sheppard's pov during this whole thing. Much, much love. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh ... This was so good! Excellent story. Wonderful characters and smooth transitions. So many great lines that I couldn't copy them all, but I really loved this last one: "“You are the woman of my dreams. It just turns out that in order to get you, I really had to be dreaming.” With a finally deep kiss, he released her and started back up the ramp. “Goodbye, Sam.”" Very very nice. (also: Ronon the mean Kavanghan-dunking pizza delivery boy - Ha!) |
![]() ![]() ![]() M...yummy indeed! Merry Christmas to my favorite ff author-wish I had as good a present to give you as your stories always are to me! (Yes, well, 'tis a sappy time of year, and I am easily influenced!) P |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was one of the best ff's I've ever read. Wow. I LOVED it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent story. I know I read this before, somewhere and I am surprised that I had not reviewed it here before. |
![]() ![]() *standing ovation and wild cheering* Wow, that was awesome! Total psychological whumper *bg* LOVE IT! Funny and sweet and sad :D Excellent ending *happy sigh* thanks! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. Just . . . just wow. Excellent work. You really nailed the characters - and in two realities, no less! The psychological basis for everything that was happening, the way you got us into McKay's head, the flow of the transitions . . . Bravo. That's all I can say. Bravo. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Where do I start with this. Well, a general statement of I love it, and thank you so very much for sharing would be a good place to begin. The plot was intriguing and a wonderful mix of the surreal to the angst. I had so many highlights - Teyla turning the cat against Rodney, Ronon as the pizza delivery guy, Carson tossing the caber, the blue jello, Zelenka's bedside manner ("Just be a good mad scientist", "Cannot just go little bit crazy", "I expect glowing annual review" and "pieces smaller than lovergirl's cup size"). I could go on gushing and gushing, but it may get embarassing... And you skillfully switch from the wonderful absurdity to a telling story of Rodney's character and fears. The climax as he tells Sam who she is was a great mix of both elements. The dream Sheppard's support and affection were both perfect all the way through, while his exhaustion at the end beautifully illustrated that the real-life version was going through the same. So, in conclusion :) Loved it. Thanks again. |
