I don't know how is that Hermione knows what a Death Eater is while Harry doesn't. She could have read about it in books. But I think she would have shared it with Harry at least.

Ok, this is where I stop reading. Dumbledore guilting Harry into competing in the life/death contest? And Harry falling for it? And Sirius letting Harry fall for the manipulation? Yeah, no.

I know it has been quite a few years since you wrote this story. I loved the prank on Malfoy at the end. It made me think of Mel Brooks' movies where they would do the "walk this way" scene, or at the end of "Blazing Saddles" where the gay dancers entered the brawl. It would be neat to see the actors that played Malfoy, Crab and Goyle pull off the scene as they walked away arm in arm. Great job.
