Reviews for For Ever Kneel'd
trustingHim17 chapter 34 . 8/1/2019
I just found this story and thoroughly enjoyed it, except one thing:

the cordial heals ALL injuries with ONE drop. the only inconsistency factor open to different writers is how long they sleep after. there is no multiple drops to heal internal injuries partway and you certainly don't need one drop per injury. Peter should be completely whole after one drop in chapters 31 and 32. (and one could argue the healer at the beginning could have regained his sight, if the damaged eyes remained in their sockets)

other than that glaring mistake, AU deviation, whatever it was, I absolutely love this story and you are a really good author. i'm gonna go find and read what else you've written. Are you still updating occasionally? if so I look forward to more Narnia stories!

This is one of the most wonderful and amazing stories I’ve ever read if not the best but you can not leave us hanging like ,please add something like-The next morning,King Edmund found his brother lying motionless on his bed.”Wake up Peter.”He shook his brother, receiving no reply he checked Peter’s eyes widened as he felt nothing “PETER!”The High King of Narnia was no more. Thank you for this wonderful story-Shambhavi Sharma

PSW chapter 34 . 2/9/2017
I know I reviewed this story years ago, but I just read it again, and it was just as amazing this time. One of the best Narnia fics I've read, hands down.

Thanks so much for writing!
Quihi chapter 34 . 10/11/2016
I'm fairly certain this was my second time reading this fic, but apparently I haven't reviewed.

This is a wonderful story. It has a great plot, characters, and resolution. It's exciting to read and to gradually find out what is happening. You have written the relationships between the Pevensies well: they are close but you keep it from being creepy in any way. Honestly, it's just a good fanfic.

So, great job, and thank you for writing and sharing it with all of us.

I just... I can't...I...ugh...this is...just...you know...*sighs in defeat*
This story was seriously fantastic. Seriously. It's amazing. You are an incredible story flowed beautifully and the choice of words was varied, descriptive, and well chosen. Dialogue was natural (for Narnia) and each of the characters stayed to their character throughout the story. Your OCs were awesome too! Your story line was great, not cliche, and had the perfect balance of angst, mystery,adventure,etc... I felt like I was watching a movie while I read this. You certainly pulled me in... I finally finished it (thank you for completing it btw ;]) around 1:30 at night (after reading it till 1:00 the previous night). Man! It's so hard to put down!

Well, thank you for letting me enjoy such a beautiful story! You should seriously consider a career in writing, cause you are TALENTED. Very talented. XD

I also wanted to tell you how cool it was how you incorporated different scriptures and parallels between Aslan and God/Jesus. I loved reading those parts because it brought the Narnia analogy back to life in a very real way.

PLEASE don't stop writing, even if you don't post your work online. Hopefully, God will bless you with your own story in the future!

*hugs*

Good bless you! :D
Dino-Rogue chapter 12 . 3/8/2014
"I am with you." That is all they, and we, need to remember always.

Aww, how true! Following Him does not mean that life for us will be free of sorrow or pain, but following will make it if not easier, more possible and less hard to bear. After all, the things... and most especially, the people in our lives are His more than they are ours.

God bless you for writing such a wonderful piece! I shall continue!

Oh, this chapter is especially wonderful. The one where the evil one was tempting Peter was stunning, but this is, oh, so much more wonderful.

Loving this!

I thought I reviewed already. I did not. Shame on me, because this story was absolutely amazing. This story actually managed to inspire me to write one of my stories. It is literally that amazing.

This was written very well and I loved the plot. I love how you tied in the interludes and switches in point of view.

Epilogue Ominous indeed. I don't know what to think, but I'm hoping that's an opening for a sequel... even if it's four years later. :)

Once again, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Major props to you. There are few stories in this world that make me cry, and here I sit in tears.

This whole story has been incredible, and this chapter specifically was just beautiful. The parallels between the Peters, and the paraphrasing of words that will never grow old... And then to remind us that Aslan is still a Lion, no matter how good and great and wise, was sheer brilliance!

I am completely in awe, and cannot wait to finish this story!
P.W chapter 34 . 2/21/2011
Hello! I know you wrote this story years ago, but I thought you might still enjoy a review (if you're still getting them, don't know how that works) . . .

I just wanted to say that I think that this is one of the best-written Narnia fanfics that I have read, and it is definitely my favorite. I haven't seen many Golden Age stories where the Pevensies are adults, and it was quite enjoyable. I thought the story was good, and in places quite thought provoking-and your sorceress fit very well in with Narnian canon, given Jadis and the sorceress in SC. I liked the siblings' relationships-they were close without being cloying about it. I was very taken with the constant prayer throughout the story-it seemed so very *right* for their characters. I also thought that you struck a perfect balance with the language-I have always found the formal language at the end of LWW and HHB stilted, but you managed to make their speech flow very well here.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed it . . . :-)
dbd823 chapter 34 . 2/14/2011
I know this was written like, 4-5 years ago, but I figured that if you still go on your email you'll probably get this review... anyway, I really enjoyed this story! I wouldn't have been able to put it down but for the punishment threatened by my if I didn't go to bed before 1 AM, and almost didn't put it down anyway!

This was a really good story, and the only thing I don't understand is the interludes and Susan's dream. Was her dream merely to get them to hurry up in their search, or was there something more? And the interludes... what exactly were they? I know you might not even get this review, so you might not be able to respond to my questions, but still, if you do, I'm curious.

Of I go to check out your other stories! Tata!
