i'm going to cry

Dear Lord, this is the most heartbreaking thing. Sad and happy all mixed up. I loved the Doctor's "farewell tour" so to speak. I suppose it really was, in a way, at least for that life. Your writing is beautiful but that's obvious. Thank you so much.

It's funny, basically nothing about this, any individual section, is my favoured element of reading - I'm fond of shipping, romance, and the NuWho doctors. But together, it's one of the best Doctor Who stories I've read. I love all the wild glimpses in the first section (hilarious, touching, etc) while we're left with the underlying question of why, exactly, the Doctor has gone hyper RIGHT BEFORE he has to destroy everything. ("He runs a bit because Queens aren't too fond of no, and a little more because guards are fond of Queens.") Other than him being the Doctor, of course.

And then the reveal in the first (bless little Rose Tyler) suddenly makes so much sense, not just in context of the rest of the story, but his attitudes, too, in the canon series. I LOVE her line so much. In summary: beautiful and touching.

Stunning, brilliant. You took one of the dumbest things about the new series and turned it into a gem, and didn't ignore the possibilities of gee, it's a TIME MACHINE. Beautiful. Love the bit about the Viking helmet too.

*Gapes* How the hell do you write so good, miss cam? Some of this short stuff's even better than the OFUM!

Wow-a very well-constructed story! I particularly enjoyed the switching of the time frames (After coming before Before); that adds to its impact. 10 out of 10

Good story. I like the explination of "red bike when you were 12".

Very pretty. Poor Eight; he never got a fair shake. Love your guest stars, particularly Grace and the Brigadier. Good times, those.
