I'm twelve years late for this party but I don't care. I need to say how much I loved this. Hopefully, one day, you'll see. I know from experience how grateful it is for a writer to know their work is still echoing even if it's old.

This... IT'S BEEN A ROLLERCOASTER. Oh my God. I haven't stopped reading until I finished. I was SHOOK all the time.

I have to praise you A LOT for the way you portrayed V's issues about his body. I find difficult to find VfV fics that explore the things going on under the façade and where struggles are actually shown. Also, he's a character very unusual, very hard to keep accurate and you wrote him very nicely. CHEERS TO YOU. By the way... The scenes at the flat... I don't think I'll get over that. My heart is happy.

Anyway, I just wanted you that I loved it so much and that it'll be in my favourites in this fandom from now on, for good.

Simplemente hermoso,no podia parar de leer, el punto de vista final no lo esperaba, la libertad de Evey y V... y el romance que todos queriamos que floreciera...me emociono de principio a fin. Saludos

Liked the idea and the way it was written but to many things disagreed with me and turned me off from truly enjoying the story
Jeannetic chapter 24 . 11/2/2016
I bawled my eyes out at the end of the movie and I was extremely happy when I saw your story. It is very well written and I love how realistic Evey and V's relationship is.

The quotation in this chapter is misattributed and should say Thomas Hardy. Thomas Hardy was a turn-of-the-century Victorian Realist who wrote Far From the Maddening Crowd, The Mayor of Castorbridge, Jude the Obscure, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, etc.; Harding is a contemporary non-fiction writer and journalist for The Gaurdian. Just FYI. (I only comment because Hardy is a favorite of mine.)

After finishing this story, I had originally intended to just exit out of my browser and go about my day. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. This story was so well written it, that once I had finished it, I had a good few hours of just sitting and thinking about the whole scenario. I felt compelled to add it to my favorites and at the very least write a review.

While others may have thought your version of V was OOC, I personally thought it was well crafted. In the scene where he quickly covers up his gloves to avoid his skin being seen, it is obvious he is embarrassed and ashamed of his appearance. Anyone with those emotional scars would find it very difficult to expose themselves in front of someone they loved in fear of losing them. It would make perfect sense why he would behave the way he does after surviving on ordeal he thought he would die from, thus making your story very believable. In addition, you captured the characters beautifully, and I was constantly amazed with your ability to throw in those quotes so perfectly. I just wanted to thank you for writing this. The movie hadn't quite left me satisfied, since I am a sucker for happy endings, but this story made everything feel complete.
Hall of Rune chapter 24 . 6/2/2016
So many things are running through my head after that, that I needed a moment to just...sit. And be still. Though I've read many things that capture the essence of some monumental purpose and the poignancy of a grand moment, this, and every part leading up to it, was done in such a fashion that I feel...humbled, in awe, wiser - overall, greater, just having the privilege to experience it. So, I thank you, deeply, for having shared it.

And I do hope your mention of a sequel was (or perhaps will be) followed through - I would love to once again be swept away in your words. I wish you all the best with your endeavors. Until next time ~
Hall of Rune chapter 19 . 6/2/2016
My, my. The raw nature of this chapter, of these recent ones really, astounds me in the beautiful contrast of fragility and strength. While I admit their is a niggling frustration of further delay of the closeness we all desire between the two, I would still not have it any other way - at least, not just yet.

As a side note, though I'm not always find of lengthy author notes when reading chapters in succession (as they disrupt the flow), I find yours quite entertaining, more often than not. I, too, am trudging through a series of chem classes - so I can relate to the time constraints and struggles of another student. Perhaps my intent to claim a degree in chemistry, to pursue a career in healthcare might need some tweaking, haha.

Now, before I lose momentum - onward!
Hall of Rune chapter 14 . 6/2/2016
This, I think, it how it could be - would be, naturally. I don't wish to say "baggage", but with all the...complexities, nuances, and such between them (not forgetting those that lurk around the peripheral), it seems more honest to acknowledge that while unconditional love is evident, the vulnerability in wholeheartedly trusting and the definitive acts of giving themselves, revealing themselves, to another is not immediate - despite their obvious connection and ardent feelings. I love that you've made their progress (or valiant attempts toward it) a process - a journey. Absolutely engaging ~
Hall of Rune chapter 12 . 6/1/2016
This, and much of the prior content building up to this, is written quite well - I love how, despite the fantastically embellished moments of drama and fictional elements of this piece and these characters, you've enriched it with certain details and motions that make it so wonderfully...believable. Brava - this is such an enjoyable read and I look forward to continuing ~
