Irina Hunter chapter 1 . 5/31 According to Ms. Rowlings timeline, Regulus was born in 1961, which would him 31 or 32 at the begining of PoA, depending on when his birthday is. Also, Regulus died trying to destroy one of Voldemort's horcruxes (read the Harry Potter Wiki's article on Regulus for more details). Also, Regulus died in 1979, the year before Harry was born, and Harry's parents were killed in 1981, when Harry was 1 year and 3 months old. |
paris evans chapter 6 . 5/21 but do they die because Sirius does and who are they shipped with |
kaye chapter 6 . 4/14 this chapter is an interesting one, especially with the added bits with remus, and his point of view on the whole werewolf-essay thing. its a very in character reaction, i think, for him to be trying to see the best intentionally, even though hes aware of what it could be (and as it turns out, actually it). hes had so much if the Absolute Worst Case Scenario happening in his life, but he's still somehow trying to look on the bright side because he just has to keep going. regulus' little moment of respect for how strong his brother's been in somehow staying (mostly) sane after his Incredibly Traumatic Experiences, and then 12 years in constant close contact with the dementors is really great, too. I love how the brothers are getting to know each other all over again, slowing, and beginning to see the best in each other- under pressure the both of them were able turn their lives around for the better, and survive impossible situations just by sheer can totally tell theyre related here, lol |
kaye chapter 5 . 4/11 alright , its been a minute since my last review, but Current Events are happening. so. anyway chapter 5! a short one, but regulus' getting treed by a thestral is too damn funny. also imagining him trying to climb diwn as a person is really funny. the time skip from the beginning of sirius' confrontation w the fat lady to regulus reacting to him Stabbing A Portrait is just. excellent comedic timing. it was going so well... |
Guest chapter 4 . 3/29 ch 3: not much in this chapter but the obviously suppressed tension between sirius & regulus. theyre obviously happy to be together again, and theyre trying to get along, but theyve still got all this unresolved history that theyre just ignoring for the most part. its a very realistic sibling mood, or maybe just family in general. they love each other, but boy do they have issues! the introduction of foreshadowing re: the dark mark is interesting as well- ive always liked the idea that in its dormant state it looks like a burn scar. it is, after all, a brand more than a tattoo. ch 4: again with the lurking, sirius! also: crookshanks! he's smarter than the average cat! (and dog, in my humble opinion...) his reaction to sirius was pretty funny- it reminded me of my stepmothers cat eileen, who at the ripe old age of 19 was dying of kidney failure and still managed to terrorize the local dogs, no matter their size. dropping a cat on your brother is the ideal way to wake him up, i dont know why regulus is so upset? haha |
kaye chapter 2 . 3/29 here i am again! i decided to combine my review for chapters 1 & 2 because theyre pretty short and things are still ramping up ch 1: does lurking about dramatically in the dark run the family or something? or do purebloods get lessons in lurking alongside comportment and etiquette? the bit about the spam was a fun little detail, as was sirius not remembering his own preferences- a very subtle nod to all the things he lost to the dementors without being too much of a downer in a relatively light-hearted fic. the image of orion hating spam is strangely humanizing, too. also, regulus fussing over how skinny/underfed sirius is was cute. he cares about his dumb big brother! ch 2: i cant get over the image of regulus halfway in a trash bin. its too funny. lil foxy butt in the air... regulus' Magic Pockets are a very fun detail, and now im wondering about the years he spent in europe. specifically, the '4 or 5 years he spent trying to be a muggle', which had to have been a comedy of errors if i know anything. people mustve had so many wild theories about him, he was probably the local cryptid lmao |
senawario chapter 1 . 5/5/2019 why bother writing this if nothing changes in the end? |
DamianWayneLives chapter 5 . 3/29/2019 "With knives comes the temptation to use them"? Are you a Tamora Pierce fan? |
GodofGreed chapter 18 . 6/8/2018 Wasn't sure what to expect from this story, but it certainly wasn't this. So much better than what I expected! Going to see if you have a sequel for it right now. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 18 . 1/3/2018 That was exactly the right way to end this magnificent Story having regulus christen Sirius with another name Snuffles is adorable and it irritates him making it really Hilarious though they wouldn't survive without each Other now to keep them as sane as possible given their Family history .so it has been one marvellous roller Coaster ride into the beautifully madcap zany world of The unique black brothers finding out that their bond Cannot be broken and I've thoroughly enjoyed and Laughed along while being utterly spellbound by this Quirky fast paced time traveling journey which was Incredibly unforgettably brilliant and I'm hoping for A sequel as this great story has me hooked on it plus Wishing to read more about their magical adventures Plus their new found friendship so could you please Write another one very soon taking up where this Left off please consider this request thank you so Very Elizabeth skinner from Australia. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 17 . 1/3/2018 Actually they are hard to write though as I couldn't stand Fumbled ore that's fine and I thought that everybody Trusted him far to much yet I'm not certain that it's necessary to go by the book as regulus was conveniently Left out and he was pivotal in my opinion plus your cliff Hangers are the very best ones I've read apart from some fremione ones and thank you for filling in regulus, Back story I'd hoped he survived and in this great story He did as he never deserved that death planned for him Though fumbles looking for horcruxeswas suspicious to Me he might've been better than voldy but I just didn't Trust him but your one of the greatest most innovative Intelligent worthwhile creatively brilliant writers whom Can write up a storm and leave your readers wanting to Read more spell binding magic that flows rather easily When this exceptional story just becomes a soul Searching exhilarating epic work of art written by an Absolute genius it's been a truly beautiful journey into A great adventure so thank you very Elizabeth Skinner. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 16 . 1/2/2018 I'm going to love the chapters coming up with regulus As he's a favourite plus it will be great to see him tackle That filthy rafting, Sirius is fine in small doses yet slightly Irritating as he still has some qualities I don't like yet he's preferable to Ron asi didn't want Sirius dead .the Wonderful things about cliffhangers is you don't see them coming but you enjoy them particularly when you Write them so long as regulus lives he's to young to Die still if it leaves some lingering questions hopefully That might mean you could write a sequel to this Exceptionally awe inspiring magnetic high octane fun Filled tense dramatic great quality intriguing spell Blindingly beautiful story which is enchanting so Thank you so very much it's truly been appreciated I love everyone particularly Elizabeth Skinner. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 15 . 1/2/2018 Well everything you've written has turned to gold without Any trouble as these brothers are such fun to do they Have wonderfully amusing ironic one liners said with a Straight face but giving nothing away though Sirius won't put regs life in danger as he's just getting to know Him though I don't really want this to be the last cliff Hanger as they're just so surprisingly exciting while Staying true to the story line and it doesn't matter about The veil as I'm definitely loving the magnificent changes To accompany regulus being an intrinsic part of this Pivotal part of potter history I'll always be on regs side It's exceedingly realistic and totally eclipses any others As it's written so that regulus and Sirius can become Not only true friends but great brothers whom will Stand by each other so it's a truly unforgettable story I'll love forever and thank you for such brilliance when Writing this gem which shines like a star .im hooked. Love Elizabeth a genius. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 14 . 1/2/2018 I've got to say that snape was actually a favourite since The order of the Phoenix as I've never liked bullies they're terribly cruel people whom never grow up so It's great that the last two marauders did, though having To relive the night his best friend was murdered along with lily would've been horrorific for Sirius thank heavens Regulus is there for him and Harry believes him that's Truly fantastic as he can be quite stubborn after inheriting that trait from both parents thankfully hermione is the voice of reason even regulus is Impressed with her and he's a tough nut to crack Having been a child genius himself I'm loving the Deja vu plot lines the deeper they go it gets more Enthralling and difficult to put down not that I ever Want to stop reading this incredibly knife edge stunning Awe inspiring wacky delightful tender insightful anti Climatic highly intoxicating genuinely heart stopping Story in appositive way as your an absolutely wonderful Creative genius with a colourful unique imagination that Jk Rowling would appreciate and thank you for giving These two closure which they needed your definitely My favourite writer of this regulus black genre you can Achieve anything so go for it good Elizabeth Skinner. |
Fred's fanatic chapter 13 . 1/2/2018 I actually like the excess of snape although one thing Always bothered me how could he still be angry at them When they were teenagers and as his father abused him He was treated a lot worse and he had become a traitor Similar to regulus when mr reptile face killed lily yet Sirius never liked being in the wrong a childhood trait He never grew out of worse in half blood Prince he had to keep up the image that moldy voldy Believed in and the other death eaters were dumb So no the shrieking shack simply calls out For great tense dramatic cliffhangers which you delivered With absolute style and panache plus lots of wicked Humor also while still making this ingenious up lifting Excellent bewitching yet puzzling story which just keeps On getting absolutely more thrilling relaxing and truly Magically blessed in so many intriguing ways while Being utterly wonderful but intrinsically bewildering Yet a barrel of laughs and thoroughly enjoyable on Every page so thank you very much your an excellent Writer and I'll read anything you write so thank you Very Elizabeth skinner. |
