This was beautiful! I read everything in three days, disregarding all my homework, but I do not regret it. I was so immersed in every little detail; I love how you crafted this world, carefully constructed the plot and gave every character its own dimensions and depth.

My heart simply hurts for each and every one of them (except the evil ones!). I think I cried for Wolfram more than anybody else, though. I wish his insecurities will be healed soon! I don't think I can bear how horrible the reaction to his secret will be if it becomes a political issue and I really hope Yuuri will react well to that. Wolfram's heart is so frail and he doesn't realise how much he's loved (although to be fair, his support system frankly should put more effort! I adore Cecile and the rest, but sometimes I feel like Conrad and Gwendal don't know how to show their love properly. I see they have become better at it in the recent chapters, but still. I hope they all show a bit more appreciation so that Wolf can heal).

Speaking about Yuuri, though, amazing character development! *claps* I can't believe he's the same boy that ran away because of a kiss. He really is becoming a great king and, from the looks of this chapter, a good, mature husband. His other persona scares me a bit, but I am hoping he means well and his heart is in the right place, in spite of its means. I just want them all to be happy, really. War sucks.

I study politics so this has all been really interesting. The power struggles, the allusions to power-sharing dilemmas and political leanings have been fascinating, albeit frustrating. The aristocrats are all idiots and I'm convinced that the traitor is within its ranks, ugh. Hope that person is found soon.

I wish I had discovered this story sooner! It was a great delight. I love love love this couple but there are very few fanfics that have such good quality. Your writing is charming and I can see the effort you have poured in this story. It was a rather long ride, but it was all worth it. I have taken a look at your profile and it seems like the sequel is still pending, so I am marvelled. I am really glad you decided to continue. I will definitely read the sequel, so don't feel like the fandom is dead! I am sending all my cheers and support from here.

this story is amazingly well written and long. I have spent the last few hours reading this chapter before I have to go in to work. I like to finish whatever chapter I am on of a story before leaving it for a while, and have thankfully managed to just complete this chapter before needing to leave for work. Your words are mesmerizing. The plot you have developed, certainly has me engaged in its web.

I was just as conflicted as Wolfram in this chapter. It was the blowjob of fate and he did for his country, but... gosh, at what cost? I couldn't stomach reading that part.

Poor boy. Conrad could have at least given the sweetheart a hug.

I was actually planning to leave a comment after finishing the story, but I am so irritated that I'll write one now.

I deeply agree with Gwendal. I can just feel his righteous frustration and he can't be blamed for it. Yuuri and Wolfram are acting so childishly and selfishly - prioritizing their own feelings/drama over the wellbeing and safety of the citizens they were supposed to protect. Seriously, if I were one of their people I'd be one of those revolting right now, haha.
Obviously I don't know how the story will progress from this point, but I really think war is the only realistic way to end this conflict. Your enemies are literally raging war and your people are being slaughtered left and right - it's the worst time to have a bleeding heart.

Cecilie is willfully betraying her kingdom because she is a cowardly fool. Wolfram is being a pathetic moron by abandoning his duties to pine over Yuuri. Yuuri is abandoning his people to suffer and die by hiding away in his room so he doesn't have to make any hard decisions. It is hard to like a story when one feels mostly contempt for the characters.

If my country had embraced pacifism, it would no longer exist, several times over. Sometimes, standing up for yourself with violence is necessary and I truly hope that Yuuri won't let his people die and suffer because he's to afraid of getting blood on his hands.

I really hope you will stop Yuuri's aging, It will be so sad otherwise. Alliances and peace need a lot of time to settle, or it will all fall after Yuuri' death, like after Alexander the great's. And poor Wolfram will be a widower to old age before he even looks twenty (

Honestly, I hate the thought that this will be a trilogy. I don't like reading unfinished fics because I'm the kind that becomes restless whenever something's troubling me or my fave character and I can't yet see what will happen next (I hope that made sense). But, what the hell. This story is wonderful! Especially the thought that they're not out of character but Yuuri and Wolfram's relationship reached a new height and it seems all legit. Every other Yuuram fanfic I've read has to be OOC for Yuuri and Wolf to have this kind of relationship. But here, you can see the authenticity of their characters and yet they fell (madly) inlove. Also, I admire your vocabulary. I find my self double tapping on my iPad every now and then to consult the dictionary for the word's meaning. I've learned a lot of words. Thank you. I just want to share: I fangirl about this story to my boyfriend. He always listen. And, it really surprised me that whenever I told him I'll continue my reading, he'll always say, "Update me later, okay?" Hihihihihi. Isn't that cute? He became a fan as well even though he doesn't really read it. :D This review is getting long so; expect me to follow you through the journey of finishing this story (and killing Lyron).
