Well, here I'm begging you to put an epilogue there too, preferably where Leia knows of her blood ties to Vader as well... Sigh. It was short but sweet! I loved reading it. The doctor was nice... and surprising. For an Alliance doctor, he was quite mild and understanding towards Vader. Nice though. So professional one time and so humane when it counts. I've met and heard professionals who were as cold and hard as ice cubes... You've got two quite-interesting OCs there. I wish the tech would receive equal time too but I understand that this story is a medical-related one, unfortunately. I thought Vader wouldn't let his fleet employ slaves though? You said the tech was once enslaved on a star destroyer... Or was he enslaved on someone else' star destroyer? (I don't know much about Star Wars, having read fanfics in this fandom for only about two months, and having watched only the first part of A New Hope, but as far as I understand it moffs got a few star destroyer assigned to their regions and Xisor might have his own (not quite legal) star destroyer...) Well, anyway, it's a great piece, particularly the ending (so touching, so poignant even (or especially, rather) with those few words) and it absolutely hooked me - just at it was ending, to boot... I don't know if I already wrote a review or not yet for this piece, but I came back to it again and again and thought that, even if I have, I'll still do it. :) - Rey

Wellllll this was last updated in '06... so I'm going to say the chances of this very interesting story being finished are nil. That's sad, but I understand. Good story so far anyway.
