I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading the installments in the Reflections series. As with all of your stories, your background research clearly comes through with the depictions of Japanese culture and the people. The wedding story was sweet and poignant but not sappy. Nice job on that one.

And of course, the Ron/Yori pairing was great too. Wish I could find more stuff like this.

The amount of details you have in your story is amazing! You really did a great job researching Shinto weddings. To be honest, I never saw or read about one except for what I've seen in the movies. One thing I was wondering about is about the sword Ron was wearing. Is that customary? I thought there is a shorter ceremonial sword, more like a stabbing sword that is worn or rather tucked into the belt. Also instead of wearing the sword attached to a belt, don't samarais generally wear theirs swords tucked into their obi sashes? I believe the ceremonial or the short stabbing sword is tucked in front while the long sword is tucked in the side. I have to appreciate the friendship that has developed between Hirotaka and Ron. Hirotaka can be quite funny especially when he said,"Ah it is good to be single." From that one line, there are some good potential stories regarding what happens to Hirotaka later in his life. A possible eventual connection with Kim? Anyhu, I can appreciate the amount of maturing Ron has gone through since his high school days. I love his showing of humility when he referred to be addressed as an equal rather than a superior. He's still a little silly, but it was cute when he was using the Lotus Blade to cut the cake. I thought Yori or Sensei would have a heart attack when they saw him using it in view of the sword's greatness. Just one thing about the cleaning of the sword. I don't know if this is true, but I thought cleaning of swords should only be done with silk and nothing else? I know your story is about Ron after his breakup with Kim and it is explained later how the two came to meeting again. Even though your story is a happy one for one member of Team Possible, I can't help, but feel a little sadness for the other. I really enjoyed reading your continuing saga on the life of Kim Possible and her friends. Keep it up! You add new dimensions to the characters and take them to levels beyond that of the Disney channel or ABC Kids or Toon Disney. You bring them outside of the television tube and have given them more life than they would ever have as an animated image. Once again, great job. Looking for your next update.

Kagome... the name just clicked... is this a reference to a Kagome from a certain anime? Or am I more paranoid than I usually am?

The first chapter was as the second, descriptive enough to let me see it as the show.
