Reviews for Spirit Walk
rainediamond chapter 1 . 3/7/2019
Ohhhh. I really like this. Can’t wait to read the follow-up!
SonOfNenji chapter 1 . 11/13/2015
So Ranma will end up being the girl to Akane's man but end up having a really cute, badass little girl?

That's...deep. I think it might be worth it, too... Certainly better than becoming a total bastard for the rest of his life, loved by no one.

Guest chapter 1 . 3/23/2015
Before she opened the door to see Akane I wish she would have added "Unless Akane is the father"
xThomas2 chapter 1 . 1/10/2015
Hmm. Not a bad story to read on the side
shugokage chapter 1 . 12/8/2013
A really interesting story good job!
Compucles chapter 1 . 4/27/2013
Hmm, interesting little one-shot you have here. I like how you used the insanity mushrooms from that episode of "The Simpsons." On to "Mother."
RissaKatharine chapter 1 . 10/24/2012
This is an amazing story. I'll forever be looking out for my spirit children :)
Katt1848 chapter 1 . 4/1/2011
I read the story Martial Arts Motherhood Challenge before I read this and I really liked that story. When I started reading this one I didn't know what it was going to be about but then I got the the beginning of the Spirit Walk and the Coyote and I knew what it was instantly..
Hammerchuckery chapter 1 . 10/25/2010
Simply amazing. However, I always did find those faceless toddlers hanging around me to be creepy. I prefer the happy future glimpses that then gets erased. My TVTropes vocabulary suck. Gonna read that sequel now!
chronodekar chapter 1 . 10/20/2010
It's weird. I like this story, but for the life of me, I can't figure out WHY.

Still, I enjoyed it!

Kaoru Shimitsu chapter 1 . 11/2/2009
I don't make a habit of reviewing a lot of Ranma stories nowadays, the few I do read are separated by long stretches of time... but this one was in a list of a fan of mine, and the premise sounded interesting enough.

What I can say is that this story is a rousing good read. It has the nuance and tenor of some of the Ranma-fiction greats and sure does bring back some strong nostalgia for an old guard such as myself.

The content and the mix with traditional spirit walks melds well with the Ranmaverse and it retains a goodly amount of humor while also presenting Ranma with a heavy series of choices and while it may make a few Fanon mistakes, they are not bad mistakes in particular to make; merely the author's interpreted understanding of the series, which speaks more to an intuition of understanding rather than a literalism that some canon advocates tend to swarm around.

Imagination is the name of the game, and while the author also does fall occassionally into he/she said, overall this is avoided in favor of some warm and vivid details that certainly paint the story process deeply into the mind, capturing an essence that I myself attempt to convey to the reader on a frequent basis; animation in reading.

For the author, I give a four and three quarters out of five stars... not perfect, but close enough.
The Nachoman chapter 1 . 9/7/2008
Whoa, fabulous! I guess such would be the easiest way for Ranma to accept the curse: to become enamoured with an unborn girl who could come out of "his" womb.
Nitpicker chapter 1 . 2/14/2008
As much as I enjoyed the story I can't get over the disquieting fact that Coyote is primarily known as a *trickster* god...and that all he tells Ranma could be a part of a huge practical joke...
jgkitarel chapter 1 . 11/25/2007
Hmm, very interesting. Using an American michief spirit to guide Ranma into the realization that everything has consequeces.

I can see where this is going.
