great well written work of art

I think you have just created the most epic line in Firefly fanfic history with that opening bombshell, The Sketchywallflower! And Simon's reactions were just perfect...could totally see Sean Maher/Simon doing the spit take and dribble before starting the rant to River ;P

I'm glad I'm a relatively healthy women because "Flowers. Paper flowers hung on strings draped from the ceiling. Some were crinkled, some were very pretty and some were obviously from the learning stages. Many of them were bright colors, lots of blue and pink. Some were obvisouly crafted from torn out magazines. At least a dozen came from some sort of instruction manual. There were at least a hundred of them." nearly did me in! I love the evolution of their relationship in this story. Very believable and very organic. Oh, and the "cuddles" is just too damn cute. Great job!

I really enjoyed this, though Dana definitely threw me off. And the idea of Jayne doing origami is adorable! Thanks for posting.

Great story, I love the talks between Jayne and River, you do a great job of keeping both of their speech patterns sounding in character, which is hard to do. Liked that Mal wasn't the bad guy in this one. Thanks.

You played with my emotions girl! As River might say "Tug, tug." This was so deeply moving, heartbreaking and lovely all at the same time. There were tears, and that doesn’t usually happen. Kudos!

Oh...please tell me there's more coming? Cuz this is just...amazing! The kind of work that you did here? Utterly spectacular, as it isn't sudden but gradual and deep. You let things come out at a pace that's not forced-feeling or hackneyed:D
