I almost cried when Hiei stood behind Kurama. That's exactly what would happen if they do ever have to fight in the same ring. This was just wonderful. Thank you.

This would be interesting to write a full story about. Not necessarily this exact situation, but one in which Hiei and Kurama were pitted against each other in a fight to the death.

I've been reading through all of your YYH fanfiction (well, all the H/K stuff, at least, and genfic), because it's been such a challenge to find an author who wrote with CONTENT, and not just tired cliches and bad grasp of characterization. Your work has been fantastic-Absolution was the first I read, and I loved that Hiei and Yukina were in the center of the story, instead of Yukina being shunted to the side.

This final chapter of your drabble collection, though, demanded a review, even if I can't find the words to say. It was simple, powerful, overwhelming... true proof that less can be so much more. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I'll admit to being a total addict to the Karasu/Kurama pairing, but at the same time...superultramegacreepy.

I got to chapter nine (drabble eight) before I absolutely had to add it to my favorites. I've been trying to cut down on the number of stories that I add to my favorites, lately, because it's getting kind of clogged...thanks for ruining it.

In other words, absolutely amazing story. I just like to complain a lot.

This one is amazing too. And again, completely believable as it fits into the canon so well.

Obviously, Kurama has a lot of reasons to want to stay in human form-to be with his mother, to fit in the human world, to move on from his old life, but I never considered this possibilty.

It would remind him so much of Yusuke's death, as that is where he got that power.

I am so stealing this explanation for Hiei's change. Yes, the sword messed with his brain. That's why he got sidetracked with making a human-demon army while looking for his sister. Yup, now everything makes sense.

Very nice make-up scene between the two as well. :)
