I thought Ash was dead and this was gonna be some type of tragedy fic. But nope! It was melancholy with some fluff at the end. I enjoyed it!

Oh, that was lovely. I really liked it. The fluff was there, but it was subtle and not in-your-face the whole time. I especially liked the delirium that you portrayed after they fell off of the Skarmory - it really puts the situation in perspective. I must say, one of the best Palletship fics on the site. Wonderful job!

That was really good. I loved the writing style, how a lot of it seemed really confused... it held me on edge from the first few lines.

And by the way, LOVED the little thing with Mew. You did a fantastic job somewhat keeping "the pink mouse" shrouded, not revealing it's identity until necessary.

When I first saw "pink mouse", I actually thought you were referring to a Rattata. XD Then, as I continued the story, I picked up on how it was probably Mew.

I completely agree, most are very unoriginal, recycling the same plots. Over. And over. And over.

It was a breath of fresh air to find another one that broke away from that mold.

And I did notice a little OOCness with Gary, just a TAD. But with Team Rocket? Absolutely not! They were portrayed well! If you pay a lot of attention, especially in the movies, you can tell that they really do care for Ash and Co.

All in all, great job! This is definitely high up on my list. ;)

It's been a while since I read a really good piece of Palletshipping, and this has left me wholly and completely satisfied. The story is solid, and the flashbacks are very neatly woven in throughout. The Palletshipping is much more in-character than you usually find in stories, in that it doesn't force itself on the reader and just comes naturally at the end, wrapping the whole thing up. Gary's thoughts and actions particularly seem natural. I'm very impressed.

Great work. Keep up the writing!

The suspense elements in this fic was really good and kept me leaning on my seat! The theme of this fic was a really good choice and it's awesome how you seem to wrap the entire story around it without making it seem too cheesy or cliched, that takes some real talent. Good job, this was one of the very few ShiShi fanfics that seem to appeal to me and my overly-critical tastes. Kudos to you!

Despite the 'happily ever after', I found this too be a really interesting story. The formatting worked really well; it managed to leave all the little moments in suspension.
