This is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. I am absolutely sure this is how the period between CotBP and DMC went. I will never forgive Disney for doing what they did to Jack and Elizabeth. Love this.

That was some freaking EPIC SAUCE there. I normally don't read POTC fanfiction, even though I absolutely worship the movies, but this was freaking awesome. I am so glad that I clicked on it.

All three of them were portrayed wonderfully; you did such an amazing job with Lizzie and Will's interactions. I loved her little dream with Jack, and before I forget! You added the scars (!); I watched the extra scenes one time, and that scene blew me away. I am so so so glad that you added them into the story!

I've loved J/L ever since DMC and I was pretty disappointed in AWE.

But this is so completely awesome- you've captured Elizabeth, plain and simple. I can literally SEE her walking about saying these things, and Will being all stubborn and not-Jack like.

Aww I've always supported Elizabeth and Jack. Will's just too dull :) LOL and I can totally imagine him saying the "peas in a pod" line and tacking a "darling" at the end. It's just so delightfully Jack-ish :D

so, just curious, but i wonder if your perspective on this has changed at all since AWE came out. since, you know, will's totally a dashing pirate and everything now. i thought AWE did wonders for his character, actually. he's way better (and hotter) as his de-heartified self. :D

Hmm. I rarely read anything anymore, much less leave reviews, but I got curious after reading your meme in LiveJournal and decided to check it out.

I loved this. I was feeling pretty apathetic toward the PotC fandom, but after reading this ... you just single-handedly reminded me of everything that I had ever felt for the story.

My favorite: 'She closes the book, which suddenly seems a disappointment. It knows everything about the pirate and nothing of the man.'

Oh! Amazing little interlude for the in-between part of the trilogy. And Sparrabeth to boot. I liked her dream, and the last paragraph, and the part where she told her maid to get rid of the book.

In that part especially, the simplicity in the way you executed it made it so much more powerful. Kudos. :)
