So... when are you coming back to this?

Mkay I know this fic hasn't been updated since like 2008 but HONESTLY dgjjvxgfjjfgjfg I love? This series so much? You NAILED sonic and tails' interactions and they're just so damn fun to read. I ADORE how sonic is a teasing big brother one minute then ready to throw down with someone for threatening his baby brother the next. And I LOVE the way you've written knuckles in this. It's so easy to make him come across as a gullible idiot but you managed to avoid that, he's suspicious and wary and doesn't trust robotnik at all and only really believes anything he says because he got to the island first and was right about sonic having the chaos emeralds (and maybe because of something he'd heard from mighty when he visited the island? I think I remember that being a thing but I'm not sure).

Anyways, idk if you'll even see this review, but I just wanted to gush a little bit about how much I love this fic. I really wish there were more fics out there that portray sonic and tails the way you do (yes ik it's partly because they're younger but still) but if there are I haven't found them yet. Absolutely adore this, loved reading every second of it (and the one that came before this, too!) 3

I don't ever think I've seen another story that has as many people wishing for a return as yours. Oh well. What exists is great, and though the chance is slim, I really hope you come back to this (and your other Sonic fics) one day.

You know, The irony in some of this is simple astounding. I understand you have work and all, that's not what I'm calling you out on, but man. If one year was long, 9 years without an update is an enternity. Oh well, what we have is qctually pretty decent, albiet, not finished. But then againl I don't expect this to be resumed or picked up again any time soon. Oh well. What we have is quite well done.

Did you abandon this? Please don't it's too good! I've been waiting for a sequel of your Rising Star story forever and when I finally found it it's abandoned?

It's a shame you stopped writing this. I'd have loved to see Sonic's reaction to seeing the dreaded ghosts in the Sandopolis Zone. XD

Seriously, dude, please update! I'm a big fan of this 'series'.

Wow this chapter was so long! I read it over about four sittings... So many dramatic moments when the hero may die... I wish Tails didn't idolise Sonic too much, it gets in the way of their brotherly relationship :)

I know you haven't touched this for a considerable number of years but please do if you get the chance! It's a lovely little read, Sonic and Tails little brotherly moments make it interesting to follow, which had it been solely level based would have been difficult to achieve but at the same time you can picture and grasp the ideas of each zone more clearly and see it not just as a pixel version :)

Poor Sonic, sometimes he just can't get a break x) it's a nice touch seeing him develop from Rising Star, Tails to (he is so cute).

All in all I love your style and character portrayals and hope to see more like this in the future, but even if I do not, thanks for a great read :)
