I read a few post #18 fics and I have to say that this one is my favorite so far. You really captured Chase's emotions well, along with Old Lace's reaction to her new master. In comparison to what I think will happen in the next few issues, you've set the storyline up really nicely. :) All in all, great work! |

| Moral Mark chapter 1 . 8/12/2006 Very clever use of the bedrooms as a metaphoric device for Chase's innocence (or more appropriately, a slip from). Like your previous fic, Tryst, you have the voice of darkness down quite well, and seem to sympathize with the common theme that evil is not born, but made. Your 10 words are well utilized with little fat, nor is it rushed. Excellent work. Once again, you pull off another ficlet Sandoz-style. |
