I liked this fic, very much. As the sex scenes are not too vulgar than those fics I've read so far and I can tell it isn't rated M at all more like rated T. You've done a great job.

Aww I love this story! I feel so bad for Kevin and Fuji though. Although I must admit Tezuka and Ryoma are great together. The fact that Ryoma's so injured adds a twist to the story; and I adore it! I can't wait for the final match! Please update soon

I read this fic today from beginning to end, and I must congratulate you on your amazing story. It trapped me from the first chapter, and although it's kind of sad, at the same time it isn't. I've been a PoT fan for so many years. I'm watching it for a fifth time now after God knows how long and I decided to add a little flavor to my renewed longing for it by searching for some fics. And here I am finding yours. Wonderfully written and absolutely brilliant. I assure you that I'd have been with you for all those years it took you to write it.

So since Kevin, "defeated Ryoma," and Tezuk, "defeated Kevin," does that mean Tezuka indirectly defeated Ryoma? o_O Kinda confused since there was no match between them.. It's pretty sad how Ryoma's tennis career would probably end in his early twenties.. other than that great story. :)

first: I'm sorry I never reviewed. I found the story in 2007, and looked in on it at first every week, then longer and longer...i stopped checking in on it more than once or twice a year by chapter 10; partially my fault, too. I got too engrossed reading already finished stories (which i admittedly prefer) and school. Sorry.
second: I truly enjoyed this story. It's more than a bit painful- sad? melancholy?- i dunno, but at the same time...wow. That strenght of emotion you managed to convey was simply awe inspiring. I want to comfort Fuji now, tho. I feel so sad for him- both of his loves are in love themselves with each other. I feel like I would diminish his emotions if i say 'poor Fuji' so i won't, but...damn. I know how he feels. While not the same, my best friend, my other half, my perfect soul-mate (to whom I never confessed, btw) is in love with who was my boyfriend because he thought he couldnt' get her, and I, in a way, fell for him *because* he loved her, and because he was there for me in so much, and I depended on him...they're happy together now, though. And I'm glad. I really am. I'm also well over a thousand miles from them, but still...
I thank you for wrapping up this amazingly beautiful story, I truly do. (though I am ashamed to admit that I only knew when I searched the recently completed tezuka x echizen stories, not because I searched it out. I normally do that around thanksgiving and spring break...dunno why, those are just the times i most remember this story...anyways, I'm sorry!) So...THANK YOU! - I wish you all the best in your writing career, and present a little hope that you might come back and play with fanfiction now and again, as you create such memorable situations and fleshed out characteristics for beloved characters. :)
PS I also am very depressed about Echizen retiring from professional tennis...somehow I always imagined him retiring out of boredom, not injury...but I can dream that Inui will miraculously come up with a regimen to help Echizen in a couple years, no? After all, he's done the impossible before [ie: Inui Juices {I still giggle everytime i read/write that...that has *so* much potential to turn perverted...{ and making Fuji pass out with them] ;)
