I really like the story so far! I can't help with the pairings, I don't like any of the boyxgirl pairings none of them seemed good for Naruto. I can't see Hinata with Naruto I know that opposites attract but I just can't see it and Sakura is obsessed with Sasuke and is way to mean to Naruto for my liking. And Ino is Choji's. Plus I don't see Kakashi with anyone. But boyxboy is another matter. I love Narukaka don't ask me why but I do and I know that this is not what this is but I just wanted to say my favorite pairing. Also another thing on the story I love how Naruto has fox tale and ears and your writing is great.

I like this fic so far, but you're making Mizuki a bit too obvious. In canon, Naruto trusted him enough to go steal the forbidden scroll when Mizuki said it was part of the test, and he was like that because Mizuki was nice to him (it was all an act, but still). Mizuki was the one who suggested waiving the rule about 'no clone jutsu, no graduation' for Naruto because of his perseverance, and reassured Naruto about Iruka's feelings towards him. The Mizuki in this fic does not seem like he would ever gain Naruto's trust.
