Reviews for Chocolate Frog cards |

![]() ![]() This was fantastic. I feel sorry for Dumbledore and Sirius. I never thought about Marietta Edgecombe like that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing idea! loved it. It explains a lot of Dumbledore's omniscience! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very cute, but I also felt the weight Dumbledore feels. Very nice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was surprisingly wholesome. I was expecting a manipulative or voyeur Dumbledore. Love the idea of the chocolate cards being used this way. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just what I needed today, thanks! X |
![]() ![]() This is actually a really neat idea! Definitely head canon worthy! I love how you wrote Dumbledore. When I read the summary I assumed this would be a sneaky, maybe even manipulative version. But nope, you kept his personality spot on! Grandfatherly, with a quirky sense of humor, but also a hero that bears his titles with great pride and tries his hardest to do his best for the world. Thanks for sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great little oneshot. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a lovely idea. It's not how I interpret Dumbledore's emphasis on the importance of remaining a chocolate frog card, I view it more as chocolate frog cards intended for children being more important than the foibles of the politics of the day... but it's still lovely. And I love the benevolence of Dumbledore here. Plus the gernerosity towards the characters that are often disliked: Percy, Marietta, Pettigrew. Wonderful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Intriguing idea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damn that's good. |
![]() ![]() Cannon accepted! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was awesome and I love it. It's sad how, as one of the cards pointed out, Fudge's paranoia really WOULD be really useful if used against Voldemort. |
![]() ![]() That is so cool! It's so neat to run across an interpretation in fanfic that's plausible but hasn't been done before, very clever! |
![]() ![]() ![]() The wizarding world's most powerful spy network. For who but the most paranoid of Dark wizard's suspects a spy to come bearing chocolate. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, brilliant. I always figured that couldn't be a coincidence (no such thing as) and wondered why it didn't come up after book 3. I do hope someone brings up this theory with Rowling. And your writing as always is superlative. |
