I've liked your story for some time now but never actually took the time to properly review it.
First, I want to commend you on the writing of a dark, angsty story without being an overly gory one. It is a stuffy atmosphere, with disturbing characters and actions as well as troubling events. I am not really into angsty stories. I usually stick to fluffy ones but this one appealed to me strongly, like a siren song, enticing and yet sinister. I like the way you described the characters' determination despite their depressing guilt. It's heavy, it's haunted and it is very well written. The Lair is almost the most innocent and happy place of the story - a place that highlights the story is a very ominous light considering it's a brothel.
I was rather sad that you chose to wipe out almost all the Weasleys. I understand why you did it, I even agree with you. You could not really do otherwise. The dramatic death of Bill and his wife, so tragic... No parents should have to survive their children. Percy - the Dark Lord could not afford a Weasley alive and if he had, Percy would have been driven mad going to the Ministry and witnessing the bodies of his family hanging on the gate everyday. Keeping all the trio alive would have been out of place. Too many died, there is no reason to believe the three of them would make it. The twins - you already had the Patil sisters. It left only Charlie and you did well, even if I'm sad about it. I hope your Ginny would get pregnant.
I wondered also: what exactly were they bringing back from Hogsmead that started the disastrous Final Battle? Potions ingredients for their Polyjuice?
I loved your story and wanted to let you know you did a wonderful job. It's different from many others and very well done. The plot, the characters, the atmosphere, everything has been lovingly written and detailed. Thank you.

This has been quite the ride. In the beginning I was trying to suss out who was who, who was real and who was an imposter and you really just kept the twists coming. I have never read a Voldemort wins story like this, and damn is that a good thing. It was VERY well written, and I commend you. If I could favorite it a million times I would.

Awww! I absolutely loved this.. you have such a wonderful way with words.. finding ways in which to express such complicated and often inexplicable states of Being so eloquently. For setting most of the story where it was you kept the M rating relatively light.. I selfishly wanted more, which is a compliment to the Severus you’ve created for this storyyou don’t need me to tell you this, but I’ll say it anyway: keep writing x
