| hajimebassaidai chapter 18 . 12/10/2009 I enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed The Jewel in the Crown. There was quite a bit more Nigel whumping in this one though! Not objecting! ;)A good story though with a good balance between Nigel not being either Superman or a wimp. Also an interesting historical landscape for the story with the Romans being more than just attractive window dressing to the plot. Enjoyed it! |

I loved that Nigel rescued derek and Girta was just too funny, so typical of Nigel's ignorance of his own attraction.I loe that Sydney and Nigel stayed together when they got back home, I was wondering how you would handle that. | Tanya Reed chapter 18 . 11/26/2006 I was both happy and sad to see this final part. Happy because, as you know, I love, love, love this story to pieces. Sad because now it's over. I thought the wrap up was well done...I especially liked when Bluthus got his well deserved kick to the head! I also liked how you mentioned everyone who had been in the story at the end so we knew what was going on in with them. The epilogue was great. Go, Nigel! Even after all that happened to him in the story, he still ended up all right-he got the girl, he got to be a hero, and he got the book deal and the symposium. Anyway, really well done, and I can't wait for your next offering. |
